Now onto the issue.
THE CHOICE
“We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same”-Carlos Castaneda, Journey to Ixtlan
The call of strength is one that has been heard by many throughout history. From ancient philosophers to modern-day thinkers, all have heard the call.
The call to grow.
The call to action.
The call of strength.
Yet so many have dulled it.
You may have delayed it.
The truly foolish have ignored it.
You cannot afford to make these mistakes.
We need strength. We need the ability to overcome adversity, to persevere in the face of challenge, and to rise above our limitations.
To not only survive in this ever changing world, but to thrive.
Why?
Because it is getting harder. Difficulties are rising. New technologies that were meant to improve our lives have done the opposite. So many of us are losing our skill sets or are facing rejections or are outright being ignored.
This will only increase as time goes on.
We need strength.
Strength to overcome and adapt.
Strength to look these challenges in the face and press forward.
Strength is a fundamental component of success, for it takes strength to face our fears, to confront our limitations, and to push past them. Without strength, we remain trapped in our comfort zones, unable to grow or achieve greatness.
These comfort zones quickly become our tombs. Comfortable, ostentatious, but tombs nevertheless. An early grave for far too many.
But not you.
When you hear the call, you act.
And if you haven’t yet, you can start today.
"Self-improvement is the name of the game, and your primary objective is to strengthen yourself, not to destroy an opponent.”-Maxwell Maltz
When we cultivate our strength, we are better able to manage stress, overcome negative emotions, and find meaning and fulfillment in our lives. Better yet, we are able to push forward where the vast majority would stop.
But where does this strength originate?
From ourselves.
From our efforts.
From the difficulties we face.
And make no mistake, the difficulties will seem endless.
From global pandemics to economic uncertainty. Political upheaval to wars and conflict. New technologies and new careers. We must utilize our strength to rise above our fears and limitations, and to embrace the unknown.
It is the only way forward.
“Nothing can give a man strength when he is looking for salvation other than his own effort.”-Leo Tolstoy
DIFFICULTIES NEEDED
“Difficulties strengthen the mind, as labor does the body.”-Seneca
Difficulties can make us miserable. They can make us weak. They can make us question our path.
But they can also make us better, provided we have the strength to face them and eventually overcome them.
Yet so many fear this.
They fear the reality of the situation.
They fear the odds.
They fear failure.
They fear loss.
So they shirk from the opportunity, hoping for strength to magically appear.
Spoilers.
It doesn’t.
It never has and never will.
And because we seek to avoid any pain and discomforts, we avoid the best parts of ourselves. We silence the inner powers and cripple the potentialities. We make ourselves sick, allowing the disease of doubt to stop us in our tracks. We destroy ourselves before we can act, and action is what leads to strength.
This must stop. Instead, you must answer the call of strength.
You have it deep within you.
It is up to you to unlock it. Once you do, you will be unstoppable.
“Finding the center of strength within ourselves is in the long run the best contribution we can make to our fellow men. ... One person with indigenous inner strength exercises a great calming effect on panic among people around him. This is what our society needs — not new ideas and inventions; important as these are, and not geniuses and supermen, but persons who can "be", that is, persons who have a center of strength within themselves.”― Rollo May
The sooner you discover this source of strength, your life will change for the better.
Your attitude will shift. Your mindset will be altered.

There is always a way to move forward, no matter how difficult things may appear to be. There is always a path to the top of the mountain, provided one has the desire to make the climb and the strength to continue on when the difficulties increase.
"Either you reach a higher point today, or you exercise your strength in order to be able to climb higher tomorrow."-Nietzsche
