THE CALL TO BECOME MORE
“Every human life contains a potential, if that potential is not fulfilled, then that life was wasted...”-Carl Jung
The truth is in plain sight.
The elephant in the room.
It is right in front of our face.
Our society, or what is left of it, has become a vapid void.
The inner yearning, the call to adventure, the transformational moment, the peak experience, is being ignored. Instead, it is replaced with the negative. Happy with their mediocrity, the vast majority dream of fame and fortune but will never achieve it. Paradoxically, they hope for the best but won’t take the necessary action to transform that inner hoping into an outer reality. They busy themselves with the trivial while at the same time, hoping and praying for better circumstances.
Today will be my day.
Next year will be mine.
Tomorrow belongs to me.
The sad reality?
There are no better circumstances that are on the way. There is nothing awaiting you without conscious effort and action to change your life for the better. There is only the ability for action that we all possess, the ability to strive toward something that is far more important and far more meaningful than our present state.
The ability to heed the call to become something so much more.
Yes, you are tired.
Yes, the difficulties keep coming.
Yes, there is no relief.
And yes, you are still required to strive for something better!
Many do not want to acknowledge this fact. Instead, they are casualties of the same self-induced catastrophes, which are the result of self-induced excuses.
The results?
Wasted opportunities.
Wasted potential.
People killing the time that can never be replaced.
People too afraid to take the action required to become something much more.
This is feeble existence, beneath a pendulum that causes us to oscillate between submission and conformity, is no way to live and certainly no way to progress.
