I am where this cycle stops. This is my chosen purpose. I knew the moment I looked into my daughters eyes that raising my children and not walking away from them was my destiny. I know it sounds simple, but to me it is my motivation, my reason for living. I will be the first in 4 generations to not walk away from my children and let someone else raise them.

Maybe it gives them more strength, purpose to stand up to peer pressure/self consciousness to have a mission other than themselves?

I will be the one to break the cycle of abandonment. I will not let it continue. My children will grow up knowing what a mother is supposed to be, and will never question my love. My children will never have to wonder if they were wanted. My children will never wonder what life would be like if I had stayed. They will know.

This is my destiny.

Usually having something outside of yourself, something greater, is all that we need.

It was one year back when I was also struggling to find my purpose of life. I used to be an introvert person with lots of self dis-satisfaction. I never used to be happy with myself, get easily angry on me, always used to doubt on myself, never loved and understand me. But one day i got fed up with all these things and try to overcome with the same. My mom helped me alot in this journey of mine to know myself better and also to know exactly life is and what is the purpose of my life.

Physically healthy you need to know yourself, maybe a difficult concept to grasp if your young, sounds like a good time to start. If you don’t really find goals or have aspirations there are plenty of things that you can enjoy in life.

Ground yourself. Build your own stability so that when the time comes for your true calling - may it be individually or together with your TF, you are beyond ready to take on the challenge. The Universe is preparing you for this. Trust your soul as to where it is leading you. You got this.

I really appreciate your Dostoyevsky quote: " When losing his hope and purpose, a person slowly becomes a monster.”

It IMMEDIARTELY thrust me back in time to a fantastic lyric from Brian Jones, who wrote "Ruby Tuesday, a great Rolling Stones song from 1967 ( jagger and richards took credit for writing that poignant and very English song, but it was really written by Brian.)

In any event, he said:

Lose your dreams and you could lose your mind, in life unkind

HOWEVER, when is adherence to one's dreams utterly psychotic because one's dreams are hopeless ???

Thank you, I am glad you appreciate the quote. Sometimes dreams are all we have. Sometimes dreams aren't meant to be reached but rather they give us something to shoot for. In any case, thank you for reading and sharing.
