A disease from an illness or injury caused by an unhealthy or risky lifestyle. People lump a lot of diseases under this umbrella. Especially diseases suffered commonly by the poor. It’s often used erroneously by the media or by those with an axe to grind, to condemn, discriminate against or belittle someone who absolutely does not deserve it.

This is a disease of inaction and this disease is suffered by all. Don't be a victim. You can cure yourself, but only if you act.

Now everybody is woken up to change their lifestyle to healthy due to pandemic. Now they understand to face the disease immunity is to be better. I don't know how far they will carry on.

Well said. May I add, that age doesn't matter - still make that choice? I had wanted to write for years, bu the fear of putting myself out there ruled. I finally took action last year and, at 82 years old, published my first newsletter. 60 articles and 70 subscribers later - here I am. Loving every minute of it.
